Pyrographic Panels "Angst of Man" Series -changes made

Take the time to think too much and things change.  All of life's a puzzle -even when you seem to be in control.  And maybe even that is part of the puzzle.   At each stage one tries to add those puzzle pieces that go to define one's self or create the puzzle image that is one's life. And so the changes to the burnt images. And then as always the dilemma with paint and colours.

Fabric art "Bluebottle Cornflower" for the Dufferin County Museum and Archives

Mannie's embroidered "Bluebottle Cornflower" picture was accepted into the Dufferin County Museum and Archives'  "Community Creates Cornflower" Exhibition that is showcasing Cornflower glassware. The exhibition opens June 7 and lasts until September. Mannie uses traditional embroidery stitches, French dyes, free motion machine embroidery, beading, dyed lace, appliqué  and whatever other technique she can use to create her images.
